As of today, the European Pact on Asylum and Migration (the Pact) has entered into force. This has an impact on the conduct of the asylum procedure and therefore also entails a number of operational and procedural changes for the CGRS. At the beginning of May, an overview was shared setting out the main changes resulting from the Pact at the level of the CGRS.
Some time ago, an overview was shared detailing the key changes resulting from the Asylum and Migration Pact (the Pact). In response to several requests for further clarification regarding the audio recording of personal interviews and the new competences relating to age assessment, we will provide additional explanation.

We therefore ask applicants, guardians, support persons and/or lawyers who are invited for a personal interview on these days to make every effort to come to the CGRS.

From that date, the European Pact on Asylum and Migration will enter into force, bringing with it a number of operational and procedural changes.
