On 4 August, several important legislative amendments entered into force

In the beginning of July, several important legislative amendments were passed regarding crisis measures to relieve pressure on the asylum system.

CGRS telephone availability

From Monday 4 August, the CGRS will be available by telephone on 02/205.51.11 on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays between 9 a.m. and 12 p.m. and between 1 p.m. and 4 p.m.

Extension of suspension for Syria

On 9 December 2024, the processing of cases of applicants from Syria was temporarily suspended and on 23 April 2025, the CGRS announced an extension of this suspension. This suspension is being extended again until the end of October 2025.
