Afghanistan: Veiligheidssituatie

Security situation

Het doel van dit onderzoek is een stand van zaken op te maken over de veiligheidssituatie in Afghanistan in de eerste maanden van 2022. Het onderzoek richt zich in het bijzonder op de periode tussen 1 januari 2022 en 27 april 2022. Het Agentschap voor Asiel van de Europese Unie (European Union Agency of Asylum, EUAA, voorheen EASO) heeft de situatie voor 2022 al beschreven in een rapport van januari 2022. Deze COI Focus kan gelezen worden als een beknopte update en aanvulling op het EUAA-rapport. Soms herneemt de COI Focus informatie over de periode van voor januari 2022 wanneer deze relevant is voor een beter begrip van de situatie in de huidige verslagperiode of voor de weergave van trends over een langere termijn.

Het onderzoek voor deze COI Focus is afgesloten op 27 april 2022.

Kosovo: Algemene situatie

General situation

Deze COI Focus geeft zicht op de actuele situatie in Kosovo. De aandacht gaat hierbij specifiek uit naar de rechtstoestand, de toepassing van de rechtsvoorschriften in het democratische stelsel, de politieke omstandigheden, de mate waarin vervolging of mishandeling voorkomen en er tegen eventuele vervolging of mishandeling bescherming geboden wordt.

Dit document is een actualisering van de gelijknamige COI Focus van 1 april 2021.

Venezuela: Seksuele minderheden en transgenders

Gender

Dit onderzoek buigt zich over de specifieke situatie van seksuele minderheden en transgenders in Venezuela. Cedoca gebruikt in deze COI Focus de term seksuele minderheden en transgenders steeds in zijn geheel om de situatie voor deze groep personen te beschrijven. Indien er verschillende situaties worden vastgesteld voor enerzijds seksuele minderheden of anderzijds transgenders geeft Cedoca dit steeds duidelijk aan. Daar waar de bron zelf de term LGBT gebruikt, neemt Cedoca de terminologie van de bron over. Deze COI Focus is een update van de COI Focus van 25 november 2020 en behandelt hoofdzakelijk de periode tussen januari 2019 en maart 2022. Het onderzoek werd afgesloten op 25 maart 2022.

EASO COI Report. IDPs returnees and internal mobility

The report analyses the situation of Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) and returnees in Syria.

This report provides information relevant for international protection status determination for Syrian applicants for international protection, and will be used in the development of a country guidance note on Syria.

The first draft of this report was finalised on 12 December 2019. Some additional information was added during the finalisation of this report in response to feedback received during the quality control process, until 12 March 2020. Any event taking place after this date is not included in this report.

EASO COI Report. Situation of women

The purpose of this report is to analyse the situation of women in Syria, focusing mainly on the general situation of women in the country while also paying special attention to area-specific features in those parts of Syria under the control of non-state armed groups, information relevant for international protection status determination, including refugee status and subsidiary protection, and in particular to inform the EASO country guidance development on Syria.

The first draft of this report was finalised on 18 November 2019. EASO COI Report. Exercise of authority in recaptured areas
27 January 2020

This report concerns the Syrian territories, which have been outside the control of the Government of Syria (GoS) and returned to GoS control through so-called reconciliation agreements. It explores how these agreements were reached, their consequences for the population of the respective areas, as well as how GoS exerts its control in the aftermath. Not all areas/cities are included, but rather a selection that serves to illustrate the different developments.

The report covers the period from 2014 until October 2019. The drafting of this report was finalised on 1 October 2019. Some additional information was added during the finalisation of this report in response to feedback received during the quality control process until 28 October 2019.
