Deze COI Focus gaat in op de aanwezigheid van geweld en de aard van dit geweld binnen het Armeense leger. Hierbij gaat vooral aandacht naar de situatie van dienstplichtigen. Het is een update van de COI Focus Geweld tegen dienstplichtigen binnen het Armeense leger van 4 juli 2023.

Cedoca sloot het onderzoek voor deze COI Focus af op 23 maart 2026.

Deze COI Focus beschrijft de houding van de Venezolaanse autoriteiten ten opzichte van migratie. Het rapport onderzoekt hoe de autoriteiten kijken naar de vele vluchtelingen en migranten die Venezuela verlaten hebben en hoe ze reageren op de terugkeer van hun onderdanen na een verblijf in het buitenland. Cedoca sloot dit onderzoek, dat de periode van maart 2024 tot maart 2026 behandelt, af op 12 maart 2026. Het is een update van de gelijknamige COI Focus van 13 mei 2024.

Deze COI Focus verzamelt informatie over de escalatie van geweld in de staten Upper-Nile, Jonglei en Unity, en tracht een antwoord te formuleren op de vraag of de Nuer-bevolking in het bijzonder getroffen wordt door dit geweld.

Het rapport focust zich op de periode van januari 2025 tot januari 2026. Gebeurtenissen in februari en maart 2026 werden toegevoegd waar mogelijk. Het onderzoek werd afgerond op 9 maart 2026.

Syria

The purpose of this report is to provide relevant information regarding the targeting of individuals in Syria, for international protection status determination, including refugee status and subsidiary protection, and in particular for use in the update of EUAA’s Country Guidance on Syria.

This report addresses topics related to the targeting of individuals by different armed actors operating in Syria, including the Government of Syria, the Syrian Democratic Forces, Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham, the Syrian National Army, and the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant among others. Targeting of individuals by sectors of society is also addressed where relevant.

This report is an update of the EUAA COI Report: Syria – Targeting of individuals (March 2020). It also provides updated information on profiles and topics covered previously in the following EUAA COI reports: EUAA COI Report – Situation of women (February 2020), EUAA COI Report – Military service (April 2021), and EUAA COI Report – Situation of returnees from abroad (June 2021).

The reference period for the events described in this report is from January 2020 until August 2022. The drafting of this report was finalised on 19 August 2022. Any event taking place after this date is not included in this report.

The purpose of this report is to provide relevant information for the assessment of international protection status determination, including refugee status and subsidiary protection.

The report covers the period of April 2021 - July 2022, and it is an update of the EUAA COI Report: Syria - Socio-economic situation: Damascus City, published in April 2021. It provides relevant information regarding the socio-economic situation in the city of Damascus, including information about internal mobility and freedom of movement. This will inform the update of the chapter on Internal Protection Alternative within the EUAA Country Guidance on Syria 2022.

The report is primarily focused on the return of Syrians from Europe and Syria’s neighbouring countries (Turkey, Lebanon and Jordan) to government-held Syria. This report is part of a series of Syria COI reports produced in 2021.
