Le présent COI Focus dresse un état des lieux de la situation sécuritaire au Tchad. Il porte en particulier sur la période allant de janvier 2025 à mai 2026 et met à jour le COI Focus portant le même titre daté du 12 juillet 2024. La recherche pour cette mise à jour a été clôturée le 20 mai 2026.

Moldova: De Romaminderheid

Ethnic origin

Voor deze COI Focus onderzocht Cedoca de mensenrechten- en socio-economische situatie van de Romaminderheid in Moldavië. Cedoca ging hierbij na welke maatregelen de Moldavische autoriteiten nemen ter bevordering van de maatschappelijke integratie van de Romaminderheid. Daarnaast onderzocht Cedoca de beschermingsmogelijkheden voor Roma in het geval zij het slachtoffer zijn van discriminatie of misdrijven die zijn ingegeven door raciale onverdraagzaamheid. Cedoca toetste hierbij de situatie van Roma af tegenover die van de rest van de Moldavische bevolking.

Dit document is een update van een gelijknamige COI Focus van 4 maart 2022. Cedoca sloot dit onderzoek af op 26 mei 2026.

Honduras: Violences contre les femmes

Gender

La présente recherche a pour objectif de présenter un tableau des violences contre les femmes au Honduras, les mécanismes de soutien qui existent et leur effectivité. Elle n’aborde pas les aspects de genre liés à l’emploi, l’éducation et la politique.

Elle couvre la période allant de janvier 2022 à mai 2026.

La recherche documentaire a été clôturée le 19 mai 2026.

Niger

Situation sécuritaire

Ce rapport met à jour un précédent COI Focus daté du 20 juin 2019. Il dresse un état des lieux de la situation sécuritaire au Niger, pour la période allant du 1er mai 2019 au 31 mars 2020. Toutefois, certaines décisions politiques prises en avril 2020 dans le cadre de la crise sanitaire liée à l’épidémie de Covid-19 sont citées dans ce rapport.

Le relevé des incidents figurant dans ce COI Focus ne prétend pas à l’exhaustivité.

Situation sécuritaire

This COI Focus describes the current security situation in Niger, more particularly during the period from 1 February 2018 to 30 April 2019. It updates two previous COI Focus Niger. Situation sécuritaire dated 23 May 2016 and Niger. Addendum. Situation sécuritaire du 1er mai 2016 au 31 janvier 2018 dated 20 February 2018.

The documentary research was closed on 2 May 2019. However, because the Nigerian government decided, at the time of writing this COI Focus, i. e. in June 2019, to extend the state of emergency in several départements, information on this topic has been updated.

Nigeria

EUAA COI Report. Country Focus

The purpose of this report is to provide relevant information for the assessment of applications for international protection, including refugee status and subsidiary protection. This report is to be read in conjunction with the EUAA COI Report – Nigeria Security Situation, November 2025. Both COI reports are for use in updating of EUAA’s Country Guidance on Nigeria (2026).

The report provides up-to-date information on key political and human rights developments in Nigeria, including the treatment of selected profiles of the population by state and non-state actors, as well as key aspects of the country’s socio-economic situation. It builds on previous EUAA Country of Origin Information (COI) reports on Nigeria, in particular the EUAA, Country of Origin Information Report – Nigeria: Country Focus, July 2024, and the EUAA Country of Origin Information Report – Nigeria: Trafficking in Human Beings, April 2021.

The drafting of this report was finalised on 5 September 2025. Events taking place after the end of the reference period have not been included.

EUAA COI Report. Security Situation

Both COI reports are for use in updating of EUAA’s Country Guidance on Nigeria (2026).

The report provides an update on and mapping of the security situation at both country and state level, namely for the 36 states plus for Abuja Federal Capital Territory (FCT). The report builds upon preceding EUAA COI reports, notably Nigeria - Country Focus July 2024, and Nigeria - Security Situation June 2021.

The drafting of this report was finalised on 5 September 2025. Any event taking place after this date is not included in this report.

Situation sécuritaire dans le Sud-Est

La présente recherche dresse un état des lieux de la situation sécuritaire dans le sud-est du Nigeria, le Biafra. Elle porte en particulier sur la période allant du 1^er janvier 2023 au 1^er septembre 2025.

La recherche s’est clôturée le 10 septembre 2025.

Corruptie en documentenfraude

Deze COI Focus onderzoekt de waarde van officiële documenten uit Nigeria tegen de achtergrond van berichten over de wijdverspreide corruptie, omkopingspraktijken en cliëntelisme in het grootste land van West-Afrika.

Het onderzoek werd gevoerd van begin april tot midden juni 2025.
