The purpose of this report is to provide relevant information for the assessment of applications for international protection, and in particular for use in updating EUAA’s country guidance on Syria.
The report covers the period of October 2025 – May 2026, and should be read in conjunction the EUAA COI reports: Syria - Country Focus (July 2025) and Syria - Country Focus (March 2025).
The drafting of this report was finalised on 8 June 2026. Any event taking place after this date is not included in this report.
